RHS London Greener Gardening Show
Flowers
for birds, bees and butterflies will transform the RHS London Flower Show into a
honey pot for wildlife this April. There'll be a wealth of information available,
shops selling what you need to get gardening, and, of course, displays from some
of the UK’s best nurseries, helping make any garden wildlife friendly.
The specialist growers and nurseries will also create a festival of spring plants
and flowers, bringing a riot of colour to the heart of London and demonstrating
the highest standards of plantsmanship.
People looking to find something a little out of the ordinary will have more than
enough to choose from with nurseries such as Trehane Nurseries, The Old Walled Garden,
The Botanic Nursery, Southcombe Gardens and Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants bringing
perfect specimens of plants and flowers together under one roof.
In addition to this, the RHS Horticultural Halls will be filled with a spectacular
bank of daffodils in all colours, shapes and sizes for the annual RHS Daffodil Competition,
and visitors have the chance to get expert gardening advice from RHS advisors and
the growers themselves.
Celebrity gardener, Bob Flowerdew will be talking on benefits of organic gardening
at the show on 6 April (2.15pm – 4.15pm), as part of the Growing For Success series.
